In an era of digital saturation, the quality of your audio is your sonic handshake. Whether you are launching a corporate series, an indie narrative, or a weekly interview show, the difference between a home-recorded file and a studio-produced episode is immediate and profound. At Yahasehonoperations, we remove the technical friction from your creative process, allowing you to focus entirely on the conversation while we handle the physics of sound.

Our Adelaide CBD studio is specifically tuned for the spoken word. We utilise a combination of high-end large-diaphragm condenser microphones and precise acoustic treatment to eliminate room reflections and background noise. From the initial capture to the final edit, our engineers ensure that every nuance of the voice is preserved, providing a polished, commercial-grade output that keeps listeners engaged and reduces listener fatigue.

Four Steps to a Polished Episode

01

Pre-Production Setup

We prepare the studio based on your guest count. This includes microphone placement, headphone mix calibration, and a brief sound check to ensure optimal gain levels for each speaker.

02

The Recording Session

Your session is managed by a dedicated engineer who monitors levels in real-time. We capture high-resolution raw audio, ensuring no clipping occurs even during unexpected laughter or excitement.

03

Precision Editing

Our team performs a detailed edit to remove distracting filler words, long silences, and technical glitches. We balance the levels between different speakers for a consistent listening experience.

04

Final Mastering & Delivery

We apply subtle EQ and compression to give the voices a professional "radio" warmth. Your final files are delivered in high-quality WAV and MP3 formats, ready for immediate upload.

Who is this service for?

Our podcast production is designed for a wide spectrum of creators. Corporate entities in Adelaide looking to establish thought leadership through professional audio series find our CBD location convenient and our quality consistent. Entrepreneurs and influencers who want to scale their brand without investing in expensive home studio equipment benefit from our turnkey solution.

We also cater to independent journalists and storytellers who require a controlled environment for long-form interviews. If your content relies on the intimacy and clarity of the human voice, our studio provides the necessary isolation and fidelity to make those conversations impactful. We support both solo hosts and multi-guest formats, ensuring each voice occupies its own clear space in the stereo field.

How the production works

The process begins with a booking and a brief consultation regarding the nature of your content. Once you enter the studio, you are placed in a treated environment designed to kill standing waves and echoes. Our engineers operate from the control room, meaning you can focus on your guest without a technician hovering over your shoulder, though they are always available for immediate adjustments.

Post-recording, the audio enters our editing pipeline. We don't just "cut" the audio; we sculpt it. This involves removing "ums," "ahs," and repetitive stammers that can distract a listener. We also apply a noise gate to eliminate the silence between phrases, creating a tight, professional rhythm. If you provide intro/outro music or ad segments, we integrate these seamlessly into the timeline.

What the client should prepare

To maximise your studio time, we recommend arriving with a clear outline or a detailed script. While spontaneous conversation is often the heart of a great podcast, having a structured list of talking points prevents unnecessary recording time and simplifies the editing process later. Please ensure all guests are aware of the location and arrival time to avoid delays.

If you have specific branding requirements—such as a particular intro jingle, a specific voice-over for transitions, or a preferred loudness standard (LUFS) for your hosting platform—please provide these files and specifications prior to the session. This allows us to calibrate our mastering chain to match your existing brand identity.

Deliverables and Output

Upon completion, you receive a comprehensive delivery package. This includes the fully edited master file in high-resolution WAV format (typically 24-bit/48kHz) for archival and high-fidelity use, as well as an MP3 version optimised for distribution platforms. If requested, we can provide individual stems for each speaker, which is useful if you plan to do further creative editing or translation in the future.

All files are delivered via a secure digital transfer link. We provide a clear naming convention for all episodes to help you maintain your archive. You will receive the final polished episode within the agreed timeframe, ensuring your publishing schedule remains uninterrupted.

Timeline and Turnaround

Recording sessions are billed by the hour. The editing phase typically begins immediately after the session concludes. For a standard 60-minute recording, the edited delivery is usually provided within 3 to 5 business days, depending on the complexity of the edit requested. Express turnaround options are available upon enquiry via our contact page.

We operate on a strict scheduling system to ensure every client gets the full attention of our engineers. We ask that all booking details are finalised at least 3 days in advance. Once the final edit is delivered, you have a window for minor adjustments to ensure the flow meets your expectations.

What is NOT included

It is important to note that our standard recording and edit package does not include copywriting or script-writing services. While we can suggest edits for flow, the content remains the sole responsibility of the client. Additionally, the search for guests, booking of talent, and marketing of the podcast are not part of our technical production services.

Music licensing is also not included. If you wish to use a specific commercial track for your intro, you must secure the necessary licences. We can provide royalty-free music suggestions, but the legal responsibility for the music used in the production rests with the client. For more details on the legalities of your audio, please see our guide on master rights.

Pricing and GST

Our pricing is transparent and based on the actual time spent in the studio and the engineering hours required for the edit. All prices listed are in Australian Dollars (AUD). In accordance with Australian law, we apply a 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) to all our services. The prices displayed in our tables show both the total cost including GST and the base cost excluding GST for the benefit of B2B clients who may be claiming tax credits.

For long-term projects, such as a 10-episode season, we can discuss a package rate. However, the standard hourly rate remains the baseline for all one-off sessions. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions regarding deposits and cancellation policies.
