Accessibility Statement

1. Commitment to Accessibility

Yahasehonoperations Pty Ltd believes that the opportunity to record music and produce audio should be accessible to all. We are committed to ensuring that our website is inclusive and usable for people with various disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments. This commitment extends from our digital presence to our physical studio located at 114 Gawler Place, Adelaide SA 5000.

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our site structure and content to ensure that the information regarding our services, such as studio rates and booking procedures, remains available to all users.

2. Compliance Standards

Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These standards provide a global benchmark for making web content more accessible.

While we aim for full compliance, we acknowledge that some legacy elements or third-party integrations may present challenges. We are transparent about our current state of compliance and are working toward eliminating all significant barriers.

3. Measures Implemented

To improve the user experience for people with disabilities, we have implemented the following technical measures:

  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including the navigation menu and booking forms, are accessible via the Tab key.
  • Skip-Links: A "Skip to main content" link is provided to allow screen reader users to bypass repetitive navigation blocks.
  • Contrast and Colour: We use high-contrast colour palettes that meet WCAG AA requirements to ensure readability for users with visual impairments.
  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchies (h1-h4) and ARIA labels to ensure screen readers can interpret the page structure correctly.
  • Alternative Text: All functional images are provided with descriptive alt text. Note that all photos on this site are illustrative.
  • Reduced Motion: We respect the prefers-reduced-motion system setting to disable animations for users prone to motion sickness.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully optimized. We are currently working on improving the accessibility of complex data tables in our services section for advanced screen readers. We also continue to refine the focus indicators on some mobile browser versions to ensure they are clearly visible to all users.

These limitations do not prevent the user from accessing the core information of the site, including our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

5. Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you experience any difficulty accessing our content or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:

In accordance with our business rules, we aim to respond to all accessibility enquiries within 24 hours. Please provide the URL of the page where you encountered the issue and a description of the barrier.

6. Formal Complaints

If you feel that your request for accessibility assistance has not been handled satisfactorily, you may seek further advice or lodge a formal complaint. We operate under the jurisdiction of the courts in Adelaide.

For matters regarding digital privacy and data accessibility, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), GPO Box 5288, Sydney NSW 2001, or visit https://www.oaic.gov.au. For broader discrimination claims, the Australian Human Rights Commission provides guidance on the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
